Although Portland Volume 1 contains my oldest images of Portland, I didn't post most of these until August 2005.
I had over 3,000 images of various sizes, from my first digital camera which produced 272x373 images and my second
digital camera, an Olympus half-megapixel (480x640) plastic bodied model. Those sizes are too small to make 8x10 prints so
I've removed all of those and posted the remaining 1,200 or so photos which vary in size from 1024x768 to 1200x1600 and
larger. If you're looking for photos of Portland landmarks which no longer exist (such as the Sandy Blvd. "Drink 7-Up" sign,
which was replaced with a Budweiser sign) you may find them here. Portland Volume 1 also includes photos taken in Seaside,
Astoria, Cannon Beach, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Troutdale, Hood River, the Columbia Gorge, and Vancouver WA.
