Las Vegas series #4 pictures were shot the end of February & early March 2006 in the Las Vegas area, and in Jean and Primm, Nevada with a 6 megapixel Olympus SP500-UZ. We stayed at the Jockey Club (next to Bellagio) for this trip and had a rental car, so this series of photos is less concentrated on the Strip area than series #2, #3 and #5, which were "walking" trips (no rental car.) Several pictures were taken in the Jean, Nevada and Primm, Nevada area. There are also quite a few images that were taken from the observation deck at the top of the Stratosphere. The Stratosphere actually sways slightly so it's extremely difficult to obtain sharp focus at night. Not being allowed to bring a tripod up to the top makes it more difficult. We were near Wynn at sunset one day and captured some especially nice images of Wynn and of the north strip taken from the roof of the Wynn parking garage.
