The Aladdin was demolished and rebuilt in 2002, then remodeled again in 2007 as Planet Hollywood. While Aladdin was kind of relaxed and sedate (I was a guest there in 2003 and liked it for those reasons), Planet Hollywood has more of a party atmosphere comparable to Hard Rock. While I like the futuristic science fiction design of the casino, it was too noisy and hectic to appeal to me when I checked it out in December 2008.
