The Monte Carlo has an almost unique approach in combining moderate rates with an elegant, understated, somewhat upscale atmosphere. They typically offer rates competitive with Luxor, MGM, Tropicana, Ballys, NYNY and other mid-level properties which have more of a touristy, gimmicky atmosphere. The Monte Carlo's standard rooms are nice but fairly small, plain and simple. A good choice for anyone who enjoys elegance that's not extravagant and a less hectic atmosphere than the average Las Vegas hotel.
