These photos were taken Feb. 28, 2006 while the $600-million 350-room "fantasy tower" was under construction. Ghost Bar, Rain nightclub, and the world's only Playboy Club are also in the Palms, which make it one of the top partying destinations in Las Vegas. Palms is on West Flamingo Road across the street from Rio Suites and the Gold Coast; and now has three towers. In addition to the Fantasy Tower there is Palms Place, which was originally intended to be a condo tower but is now being marketed as a "hotel spa". We've visited the Palms several times and like its modern, linear design; although it's less elaborate than Wynn and Encore, which also opt for the modern linear look.
