Showcase Mall - 3785 Las Vegas Blvd South Las Vegas, NV 89109

I've gone to the Gameworks video arcade at Showcase Mall but have never been in the mall itself; which contains a multiplex cinema, M&M World, the
Coke museum, a food court, 24 hour Internet terminals, and a few other stores. Walking past the mall,
there isn't any obvious entrance. I didn't even know it was a shopping mall after visiting Las Vegas about 15 times.
The sign says "Showcase Mall" but it appeared to be a "strip mall" with just the movie theater, Coke and M&M stores, and Gameworks.
Showcase Mall appears to be the ONLY place on the strip that charges for parking.
Gameworks was kind of disappointing (I haven't been there in about 5 years though). Rather than a vast array of super high tech video
games (which is what I expected) there were perhaps 2 dozen different games; and there are 8 to 12 of the same machine for some of the
games. There's a rock climbing wall which didn't interest me, and a snack area. If you bring kids here, plan on spending at least $40
per child. This isn't the old time pinball that gave you 2 games for 10 or 25 cents. Some games take $1.50 or more just to play for 3 minutes.
A lot of them are networked, like a row of eight fake motorcycles that can race each other in real time. And unlike adult gaming, which might
produce a profit; video games never pay out.
UPDATE: December 2006 I spotted the entrance to Showcase Mall. It's a stairway that leads up to a food court from Las Vegas Blvd.
