While located on the strip, Slots-A-Fun is a "downtown style" casino offering $1 bottled beers (usually three different brands which might include Heineken, Fosters Lager, Corona, or Becks), free popcorn, free coffee & donuts 8AM to 10AM weekdays, a free promotional slot spin, cheap food (they have a Subway and a pizza joint on site, as well as 99-cent foot long hot dogs & shrimp cocktail) and an atmosphere geared to low-stakes fun gaming. Sure, they stay in business the same way every other casino stays in business: gamblers LOSE more money overall than they WIN. But the atmosphere at Slots-A-Fun seems to be genuinely focused more on seeing customers have fun than taking their money.

Slots-A-Fun is right next to Circus Circus. If you exit Circus Circus through the south side main entrance facing Las Vegas Blvd, a person standing at the door will hand you a Slots-A-Fun "funbook" that includes coupons and a free promotional slot machine spin where you most likely win a keychain or some other nonsense. The free slot machine promotion is located at the north side entrance to Slots-A-Fun (photo on the right, above) which is where the path from Circus Circus leads you.
