Cosmopolitan Las Vegas as seen in 2011. Operated by but not owned by MGM Resorts, The Cosmo opened in December 2010 on what used to be the parking lot of the Jockey Club with 3,033 rooms in two towers. It was the last new resort to open on the Las Vegas strip until 2021 when Resorts World was completed. Cosmo was the most expensive resort in 2010 at a cost of almost $4 billion, although it was expected to cost $1.5 billion when the project was conceived.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas daytime shot and with the Bellagio fountain show. Someone sent me a comment once complaining that too many of my photos are taken at night. Since then I try to get night and day shots of each resort. I still prefer neon lights against a night or twilight background over daytime shots.
