Las Vegas Food, Bars & Restaurants

I titled this photo "Fatburger at 3:00 a.m. Thursday". This is the Fatburger near the MGM Grand on Las Vegas Blvd. It actually was 3 a.m. on a Thursday but I don't recall the year other than it was between 1995 and 2001. I also photographed my Fatburger burger and fries.

The first photo is the same Fatburger near the MGM Grand. Second photo is a different Fatburger, if I recall correctly it's on West Sahara Ave. The image was shot with a disposable cardboard camera, which I only used for one trip in the early 90s.

Dino's Lounge in Las Vegas is described online as a karaoke "dive bar." Open 24 hours. 2025 Google reviews report beer prices at $4 to $5 and you can bring in food (they don't appear to serve any kind of food.) Reviews also report you get "buzzed in" as a security measure and the place is full of cigarette smoke.

Steven Spielberg's Dive! Las Vegas restaurant existed from 1995 to 2000. The menu focused on sub sandwiches.

Aladdin Las Vegas Spice Market buffet. "All you can eat" buffets were a feature in Las Vegas for many years until the Covid pandemic shut them down in 2020. Only a few of them reopened after the pandemic was over.

Harley Davidson Cafe existed from 1997 to 2016 at 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Demolition didn't occur until 2024.

This 14 foot statue of Vladimir Lenin was outside the Red Square Restaurant in Mandalay Bay Las Vegas from 1999 until 2019 when the restaurant closed. The statue initially had a head. It was removed due to complaints from customers who thought they were honoring Lenin, and was placed in a block of ice in the restaurant's freezer.
