Mandalay Bay Las Vegas

We shot this photo of Mandalay Bay in February 2007 from our room in the Luxor. We've also stayed at Mandalay Bay, it has a very nice modern decor and the smallest rooms are 550 square feet, which is about twice the size of most basic hotel rooms. There's an indoor walkway between Mandalay Bay and Luxor as well as between Mandalay Bay and the "W", which was previously Delano and THEhotel. W used to be a second room tower to Mandalay Bay, they still don't have a casino, so there's not much reason to visit.

Mandalay Bay and THEhotel in February 2007. THEhotel opened in 2003 after being a second room tower to Mandalay Bay since 1999. The name was changed again in 2014 to Delano (owned by Morgans Hotel Group), and again in 2024 to W and is owned by W Hotels. Despite changing ownership twice, a casino was never installed here.
