New York NY Las Vegas

New York New York as it appeared in February 2007. Opened in 1997. It's got to be confusing for search engines to deal with 2 different city names. There's a song titled "New York New York" but I don't see the reason for using that name for a resort hotel. It's like naming a place "Luxor Luxor" or "Circus Circus". OK, well, they did that too. It seems like an uneccessary redundancy to me, just name the place The New York or The Circus.

New York New York casino as it appeared around 2001-2002. The car looks like a Chrysler PT Cruiser, which was introduced in 2001. Casinos used to park cars inside like this, surrounded by a circle of slot machines, and the big jackpot was the car instead of an amount of money.

There are miniature reproductions of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and the "Big Apple" roller coaster that reaches a speed of 67 mph.
